Airflow, static pressure, duct leakage, Manual J — and what each reading changes about the recommendation.
We measure the electrical.
Capacitors, contactors and compressor draw, read against the manufacturer's own spec rather than against how the part looks.
A capacitor reading 12 µF against a 35 µF spec — that's the failure. Not a symptom.
What it means: You pay to fix the part that's actually broken, not the expensive one someone guessed at.
We measure the air.
Static pressure and airflow across the system, and duct leakage where the numbers point that way. An undersized return and a failing compressor produce the same hot upstairs bedroom.

What it means: If we ever tell you the heat exchanger is cracked, we'll show you the picture.
What it means: Every replacement quote carries a Manual J load calculation. An oversized system wears out in half the time, so the sizing is not a formality.

$72 service call ($39 for Mission Ready Plan members). Flat-rate pricing in writing before any work begins. The service-call fee credits toward the repair. Tru Comfort members get 10% off the repair total.
What's Tru Comfort and what does it cost?
$14.99 a month per system, or $180 for the year. Two seasonal tune-ups, 10% off all repairs, 5% off new system replacements, weekend and holiday service at no extra charge, priority scheduling, transferable plan. Cancel anytime.
